White film on Arizona Red Flagstone

Thanks for your website!!
I have a beautiful Arizona Red Flagstone patio which has a white film due to the application of too much "color enhancer" for natural stone.
I've tried using a power sprayer, but the film returns after it dries. (Looks great wet!)
