Tennessee B & G - turned gold where mortar did not touch it
by Stan
(Dallas)
we had porch installed with Tenn B&G from reputable supplier. the job was a 3 day installation.
for some reason the work done day 1 has turned yellowish-gold in the middle of each piece - only the edges that were covered by mortar (until cleaned off) have maintained original color.

I can only guess, but it sounds like some of the stone dust (dust on and around the stone) got mixed in with the mortar when you filled the joints.
Hopefully a good cleaner will be able to clean it off for you.
You should call Prosoco at 1-800-255-4255 and ask them for a good recommendation on a good cleaner. They are the chemical experts we call for cleaning questions.
