Sealing Flagstone

Hi
we have about 4000 sq. ft. of flagstone
that needs to be sealed.
I have two estimates similar if price.
What should i look for in the estimates
to help make up my mind who to go with.
Do u know of anybody in the Toronto area.

no urethane sealers

Dear Tony,

We don't know anybody in Toronto, but make sure you get a reference from somebody.

The most important thing is to make sure the sealer doesn't have any urethane in it. Urethane gives the "wet look," but it also traps moisture which will cause the alkaline in the concrete to come out. That will give you gray blotches all over your work.

We use Siloxane from Prosoco and have had good results. Their number is 1-800-255-4255 if you have any questions.
