Question about flagstone

I live in Florida and want to make a walk way, a straight one to the neighbor's house. Saw flagstone in Durango at my son's house and loved it. Is it appropriate for Florida and is it accessible here? Thanks, Ann Martin

I'm like yourself..I live in La. where there aren't many quarries, mostly near Arkansas, but just north of Florida is Georgia...Much better...

Either place your flagstone on a concrete slab or a good drainage rock for the base so as to channel water freely and quickly....if there is a drainage problem.
