portland cement haze on flagstone

Just redid our front steps using tips from your site. Very helpful, thanks. How do I get rid of the haze on the stones. Its gone when they are wet, then appears when they dry out. Wire bushed ther whole thing with little improvement. Thanks.

600 Detergent

Dear Jim,

You should be able to get that cleaned off with 600 Detergent. After every job, we have a light gray haze and the 600 Detergent gets it cleaned off.

Since you're in Colorado, you should go to Rio Grand and Sand. They are at:

They have all of the cleaners that my dad uses for situations like yours. Give them a call and they should be able to give you the best recommendation.
