Need help with flaking slate floor

is there a product to darken slate that has flaked off of an entranceway?
Also what is the best product to put on top of the slate to protect it from the wear and tear of a busy entranceway?

Dear Gail,

I've never heard of a product that darkens stone, but I could be wrong about that. There are products that darken the concrete and joints, but not the stone themselves.

You should seal your stone with a good sealer. Give Prosoco a call at 1-800-255-4255 or visit their site at www.prosoco.com . They have some of the best sealers in the business.
