Landscape and Flagstone: Here is an Important Tip!

A tip that we learned for landscape and flagstone is to install the stone based around your house.

In the Flagstone Times ,Claire Davis, a landscape designer we've worked with for about twenty years, stated that pre-cut stone looks best with contemporary homes, whereas irregular stone looks best with traditional looking homes.

We just did a job with a contemporary home and wanted to show you pictures of this example.

As you can see, the house above is very modern and contemporary looking.

Claire recommended to the owner to use pre-cut stone. Here is what it looked like.

The stone has not been laid in cement yet or tucked. This is just dried laid.

This is a side entrance to the house. It has not been tucked yet.

Just a tip that you might want to consider if you're going to lay stone on the outside of your house.
