I need help Los angeles flagstone paint

We have flagstone on our patio and in our backyard. Someone painted our house (stucco in los angeles and got paint all over the flagstone which we could not get out. Someone else said they would fix it up. Instead he sanded the flagstone in different places. it looks horrible. H then tried to paint it with some sort of a sealer which made it look a drop better. But it still horrible. Do you have any suggestions as to how to save the situation? Thanks so much Does the color of the flagstone run through the stone? The part where he sanded it is white. I'm so sorry to hear that. We've actually never had to remove paint from flagstone before, so we can't say for certain.

Flagstone is a porous material so paint can easily soak into it and there's probably not much that can be done. You should call Prosoco at 1-800-255-4255 and see if they have a chemical that will remove the paint.

You can't sand flagstone and expect to get the same look as on top. It will give you that shiny look and will look terrible like you said. The stones where the sanding took place need to be removed and replaced. It's not that hard, for a mason with the right tools, to remove stone and replace it. Often my dad will have to do that after a job where a stone settled wrongly. The just cut out the joints and the stone will pop up and you can cut in a new piece.

You might try to pressure wash the other areas where there is paint. We got this post from a power washing expert that says a turbo nozzle can remove paint. You can read it here:

You might try to sand blast as well, but with both of these solutions, try it first on a little area and test it out. That way, if you don't get your desired results, then at least you haven't destroyed all of your flagstone work. But first call Prosoco and see if they have a solution.
