Flaking flagstone

We have flagstone coping and a patio around our salt water swimming pool. Several layers of stone have washed away from the patio. How can I repair these and bring them back to the height of the other ones? Thanks!

Dear Mary,

Pools will cause flagstone to flake. We get that question a lot. You have to scrape the flaking pieces off and then seal it.

You can also call Prosoco at 1-800-255-4255 and see if there's a chemical that they recommend.
