Do you think it's a good idea to put grass between your flagstone as a pool decking? Would that be a little too much or would it be better to mortar the flagstone?

flagstone with grass between the joints
There are too many other options for joints other than grass.
Decomposed Granite..Mortar...polymeric sand..gravel..Euro grout...just to name a few..
Please no grass...

flagstone decking by: David
Flagstone next to pools is not the best idea. The chemicals in the pool tend to cause flaking in the stone.
We've received a lot of e-mails from people who have had many problems with stone near their pools.
My dad has done it, but has told the owners about the pitfalls. Stone will also absorb a lot of heat, so its hard on your feet when you get out of the pool.
If you do it, then make sure you seal it very often, but that doesn't always work either.
