Flagstone Wall Installation

We filmed ourselves installing a flagstone wall. It isn't your typical wall installation, but we thought it would be helpful for do-it-yourselfers.

You would use flagstone with the thickness of about 1" and you could lay it up inside or outside of your house.

The same type of cutting, cleaning, and filling the joints would be the same as on a horizontal surface. This wall would just be laid on a vertical surface instead.

The only major additional piece that you would use with this kind of installation is a wire mesh on the backside of your wall. With that, you could attach the flagstone pieces with wire.

Watch the free video and we'll explain the whole process for you.

Here is Part One

And Here is Part Two

By taking your time, you could lay yourself up a good-looking wall. We find most beginners do good work if they are patient.

We hope you enjoyed the video and if you have any questions, please feel free to "Ask Hans."

Great luck!
