flagstone walkway in my backyard

could never get any grass to grow in my backyard. I hated to mow anyway. So I decided to landscape my backyard. I bought a fountain to put in the center of the backyard and build a flagstone walkway around it. It took a couple of tons of flagstone and about three weeks in the humid North carolina summertime. But its done.

laying on pad vs ground
by: Anonymous

Would one lay flagstone on the ground the same way one would lay it on a concrete slab? Does the ground need any preperation before? I will be using concrete instead of sand.

Bruce,
you are ten times more talented than you were back when we were drinking beers after football games at Bowman Gray Stadium!
