Flagstone removal

I have flagstone on the floor to my door entrances. I need to remove it so i can put down laminate flooring. My question is what is the easiest way to remove it?

a good hammer and chisel

Dear Lynn,

If you use a sharp chisel and a two pound hammer, then you should be able to tear it up. Start on one corner and lift the first piece. After that you should be able to get your chisel under the other stones and lift them up.
