flagstone pillar
Have finished one pillar gate post with 1" flagstone. The post is made of 8" block. The stone looks great when wet, but it has a grey chalk look when dry. I thought I had rinsed the stone a lot when cleaning. I guess I should have done more ! What could I use to clean the stone to get the chalk left from the mortar off the face of the flagstone. ( red/black granite )
