Flagstone Pictures from Jimmie

Jimmie Davis from California e-mailed us some nice looking flagstone pictures that blended excellent with his house.

Here is the e-mail that he sent us:

This was a very long project for me, about 5 months total. I was doing all the work myself with some hired help. When it came to cutting the pattern for the stone, it was more than my back could handle. It took a while to find the right person to cut and lay the stone. I think he did great work. It turned out just like I wanted. The DVD was a great help. I tried to do it just as instructed by the DVD. It was also a big help that you answered a lot of questions by email.

Thanks for all the help.

Check out his great flagstone picutres:

This is the beginning. It's time to get some concrete down.

And here is the concrete. Remember that you want at least a four inch thick concrete slab.

These next two pictures shows the cut stone. The cuts came out very well and the pattern looks great.

Cutting can take a long time, but it is worth it in the end.

This is a great series of pictures to see the process to laying down flagstone or any other type of stone.

We thank Jimmie so much for sharing his experience. This will be a big help for anybody who wants to lay their own flagstone down.
