Flagstone Patio / Pathway problems

Great web site: the Questions have been helpful however I didn't see an answer to the question below:

The flagstone was laid in Deco base and sand - some of the flagstone are up to two inches apart. How do you get the sand to harden? We purchased Polymetric sand however it really did not turn hard.

Stone dust

never mix your polysand with reg stone dust wont work. Buy gator dust bond, its polymeric stone dust for natural stone up to 4" wide.

Dear Melissa,

Polymeric sand is so new that my dad has never worked with it, so I found a site that might give you some help:

They recommend that you mix the polymeric sand with stone dust and that should give you a stronger bond.
