Flagstone Border. Make Sure To Seal It!
We just recently visited a flagstone border job we did about 9 months ago.
At the time, we suggested to the owner to put down Siloxane Sealer over the stone border. That stuff really protects stone really well.

They forgot to do it and we noticed something very interesting.

Where the water ran over the flagstone, the joints started to crack.
You can see, from the above graphic, that there are cracks exactly where the water is draining off.
Where it is dry, there aren't any cracks.
That is why we always suggest to people to put Siloxane Sealer on their flagstone.

You see the cracks from the water running down.
So, always make sure you put a sealer over your stone work.
