How can I keep the sand from coming out of the grooves? I have the front entrance laid in concrete but cannot afford the back patio to be grouted with concrete or grout. Is there a home brew of glue of some sort that can be applied on top to keep the sand solid? Or possibly a type of oil (like they use on rural mountain roads) that can be applied as a solution?


I like to go out bare foot but hate all the grains irritating my feet. Also too much sand brought in the house with the shoes.

Please help. I know there is a polymer sand mix but that involves taking out existing sand. Also the polymer sand mix won't allow for growth in between the rock. Good for keeping the ants out but I guess that's the tradeoff.

Sure Bond products make a liquid polymer that can be mixed with existing sand and will harden your joints.
