Great video... very helpful. Sakrete offers a sand mix cement for bedding and for grouting flagstone. Have you tried it? I am thinking about using it on a job because of the easy clean-up.

Dear Dan,

Thanks for the compliment. That makes my dad feel great that he can help people with what he's learned over the years.

He hasn't used that cement yet, but he's pretty much retired. He doesn't know much about the new products that have come out, so you should talk to your local stoneyard and see if they think it's good cement.

You have to watch out for cheap cement, because it can cause efflorescence.
