building a patio Jamestown, ND

Want to re-vamp yard and put in a patio & fire ring. We live in Jamestown, North Dakota. Thinking flagstone as we like the look. Would like to know pricing and where it's available in our area. I've not seen anyone in the area use flagstone for patio, wondering if that is due to pricing or weather. Any help you can give me would be very welcome. Thanks!
