Hi went to purchase flagstone for hall and small bathroom floor, but the guy I was buying from said its not possible it would be to hard to lay on solid floor to get even piece is that true is it impossible I've seen it done on DIY

It's Possible.

Dear Victoria,

It's possible, but you have to make sure the floor underneath the flagstone is solid, preferably concrete. If the floor is unstable, it will eventually bust up your stone.

Keep in mind that flagstone is porous and any soap or other bathroom cleaners will seep into the stone and darken it.

If you use flagstone, then make sure to use a great sealer. You might want to give Prosoco a call at 1-800-255-4255 and see if they have a sealer for the bathroom.

Look at the fifth video and maybe that might be a great way to install it. You could call that company and see what they think.
