We just purchased a home in Georgetown Massachusetts. The floors are Arizona Flagstone. The house is beautiful however the flagstone appears to have had a sealant put on it. Therefore it has spots where there is a lot of footwear that appears like the sealant or "paint" has been chipped or removed. I do not think it is paint but some kind of sealant. I would like to renew it. I do not know where to start. Do I sand it like a wood floor and put "something" on it. Or do I use a solvant and then paint a sealant.
